Act now: Put a paw up for big cats
Thanks to wildlife advocates like you, AWF and other organizations working to protect wildlife secured a huge victory by getting the Big Cat Public Safety Act signed into law in the United States! This bipartisan measure will address the trafficking of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other big cats in the U.S. and end commercial petting operations like those seen in Tiger King.

By adding your name to this pledge, you'll join the African Wildlife Foundation and fellow supporters of conservation in Africa by urging leaders to invest in:
- Working with farmers to protect livestock from predators, reducing retaliatory killings of big cats.
- Supporting an end to poaching by equipping park rangers, prosecuting wildlife crime, and sensitizing the public to nature’s value.
- Protecting key habitats from human encroachment and addressing the root causes of drought.
African Wildlife Foundation is proud to have supported the Big Cat Public Safety Act and generated public interest through petitions that gathered over 39,000 signatures. And that’s not including everyone else in the conservation community who showed their support. Let’s all rally together again to show Congress we see their recent success and to let them know they must keep working together to pass conservation legislation.
